First sea trial for Lagoon 43 LA PERLA -Yesterday we took delivery of our new Lagoon 43 LA PERLA directly from the Lagoon shipyard in Les Sables D’Olonnes. And of course we went straight out for the first sea trial.
Early this morning the crew set off. They have 2000 nautical miles ahead across the Bay of Biscay towards the Mediterranean and onward to our base in Šibenik, Croatia.
The Lagoon 43 is a comfortable 3-cabin owner’s version, perfectly equipped with:

From mid-May, she will be available for charter at MARE Yachting.

A 2,000 nautical mile adventure begins with dropping off the ropes.
Early this morning in Les Sables d’Olonne, the first two new Lagoon catamarans for our MARE Yachting fleet set off on their journey.
Around 2,000 nautical miles are ahead of the crew on their way to Šibenik.
The first leg takes them across the Bay of Biscay toward Mallorca— a stretch of sea that commands respect and rarely promises easy conditions.
In moments like this, we remember why we love this profession.
New yachts, a long delivery passage, weather charts on the screen, and the view of the sea that will set the rhythm for the days ahead.
We are proud, excited, and full of anticipation.
The third catamaran will follow on Tuesday.
We are keeping our fingers crossed for our crews and wish them a safe passage, fair winds, a hand’s breadth of water under the keel, and the right decisions at sea.
May Neptune watch over them and guide them safely across the Bay of Biscay.
We are looking forward to the
moment when all three catamarans soon arrive at our base in Šibenik.

Three new Lagoon catamarans for Šibenik – quality starts at the shipyard.
Axel and Tim are currently in Les Sables d’Olonne, personally taking delivery of two brand-new Lagoon 43 and one Lagoon 38 for the MARE Yachting fleet in Croatia.
Why do we handle this ourselves?
Because a charter yacht is not simply a “factory product.”
It only becomes a true MARE Yachting yacht through careful handover, thorough technical inspection, and our own specifications. The real work begins here — long before the yachts arrive in Croatia.

Three new catamarans – one great adventure!
Two brand-new Lagoon 43s and one Lagoon 38 are almost ready for their very first major voyage. For now, they are still on the dry in Les Sables d’Olonne – fresh from the shipyard, antifouling applied, masts stepped.
Next week, the journey begins! From the Atlantic all the way to MARE Yachting base in Šibenik, Croatia.
For MARE Yachting, yacht transfers are nothing unusual. Every year, we deliver boats from France, across the Atlantic, safely into the Mediterranean.
But transferring three brand-new catamarans – which we have personally sold to their new owners and which will join our charter fleet in Croatia this spring – is something truly special, even for us.
The first leg from Les Sables via Lisbon and through the Strait of Gibraltar to Mallorca will be handled by experienced professional skippers.
From Mallorca onwards, we will personally accompany the journey. Axel, owner of MARE Yachting, will take the helm on Lagoon 38 MARE AMORE together with his crew. On board the Lagoon 43 SAIL LA VIE and Lagoon 43 LA PERLA, the new owners will join and be accompanied by experienced skippers all the way to Croatia.
From Mallorca, the route continues to the Lipari Islands, through the Strait of Messina and across the Adriatic to Šibenik – where the catamarans will find their new home in the MARE Yachting fleet.
Over the coming weeks, we will take you along – from the shipyard in France to their arrival in Croatia. We’ll document the entire journey on camera and share personal insights along the way. Nautical mile by nautical mile. Stay tuned!
