Finally! 💙 Yesterday Lagoon 43 LA PERLA arrived at our base in Šibenik/ Croatia.
A big thanks to our skippers for this outstanding job — the weather made this transfer extremely challenging. We are happy and proud that LA PERLA reached her home port safely despite everything.
This Lagoon 43 is one of the few owner’s versions available for charter, fully equipped with air conditioning, generator, watermaker, and many additional extras.

Axel berichtet hier was sie hier seit der Abfahrt vom Stromboli erlebt haben. Zwei weitere erlebnisreiche Tage liegen hinter den Crews von Lagoon 38 Mare Amore und Lagoon 43 Sail la vie. Mare Amore musste in Italien einen Zwischenstopp zum Tanken einlegen. Die Sail la vie hat ihre Reise nach Kroatien weitergeführt und wird morgen in Šibenik eintreffen. Axel wird mit seiner Crew voraussichtlich am Montag an unserer Basis ankommen.

Aus dem Törntagebuch Lagoon 38 MARE AMORE- Ab Stromboli ging es bei gutem Wind Richtung Messina – konstant um die 6 Knoten unter Segeln. Die Straße von Messina zeigte sich von ihrer guten Seite: ruhige See, wenig Verkehr.
Im Ionischen Meer lief es zunächst richtig gut am halben Wind. Dann wurde es ernst. Reffen, vorbereiten auf die Nacht. Böen bis 47 Knoten. 4,5 Meter Welle. Raumwind. Kurs halten Richtung Leuca.
Nach einem starken Sonnenaufgang jetzt an der Südspitze der italienischen Adriaküste angekommen – noch immer viel Welle, aber kaum Wind.
Der Plan: ein steiles Crossing der Adria, um uns Richtung Dubrovnik landseitig zu halten. Ziel: besser kontrollierbarer Wind.
Doch zuvor kurzer Stopp zum Tanken in einem kleinen italienischen Dorf. Dort waren wir die Attraktion für die Dorfbewohner, ein paar kamen an Bord um Fotos von sich am Steuerstand zu machen.
In etwa zwei Tagen kommen wir in Šibenik an. Wir freuen uns! 💙

Lagoon 43 La Perla set off from France to Croatia a few days later than the other two new catamarans – and missed unfortunately the crucial weather window.
From the outside, a passage like this often looks easy and free. In reality, it’s the exact opposite and truly challenges the crew. In the end, it all comes down to the people on board – see for yourself what our skipper Dino has to say.
Not an easy start: headwinds, a lot of swell, and much slower progress than planned. Dino says it openly in the video – things are not going the way you would hope.
But this is exactly how really matters becomes visible.
The crew stays calm, makes the right decisions and, most importantly, keeps their sense of humor. No drama, no big words – just a really solid job. We’re very grateful and have great respect for the performance of our skippers. They make sure La Perla arrives safely, without taking unnecessary risks – even if it means the journey takes a bit longer.

Gestern Abend haben sie die Vulkaninsel Stromboli erreicht.
Lagoon 43 Sail La Vie und Lagoon 38 Mare Amore liegen vor dem Vulkan. Man sieht die Eruptionen – rundherum die schwarze Nacht, ein wirklich sehr beeindruckendes Erlebnis.
Und dann? Anker hoch und Kurs auf Messina.
