The two helm stations at the stern of the catamaran bring the proximity to the water to life and guarantee a spectacular sailing experience with all the comfort of a catamaran. All lines are concealed to the stern and can be operated via two winches (1 electric winch) on the V-boom.
The drive with the 2 powerful electric motors and saildrives from the manufacturer Oceanvolt is almost silent and completely emission-free. The battery bank is generously dimensioned at 42kW. A generator is available for long distances when there is little wind, making continuous operation possible. As is usual with modern electric motors, the VAAN R4 can of course also recuperate and recharge the batteries from a speed of 6 knots. If the battery level falls below the threshold value, the generator starts automatically and provides the necessary energy to the destination.
With its elegant, modern design and high level of comfort, the VAAN R4 is not only a technical masterpiece, but also a place to relax and enjoy. The spacious sun deck invites you to do yoga in the morning or sunbathe on the comfortable cushions with a book. While the stylish interior with fine materials and large panoramic windows offers a breathtaking 360-degree view of the sea and invites you to spend quiet moments with a glass of wine. There is a modern induction stove in the pantry.
